Our Lessons

Our experience has proven that combining teaching with Private or Group courses and Educational Party courses has the best results in learning one or more dances.

The training of private, group and educational parties takes place in parallel while the student's studies at our School.

Private lesson

There's a teacher and a student involved. Teaching is mainly about learning steps and figures of the dance(s) that the student is interested in. Each student, individually, has different needs, e.g. one student may need to improve the presentation while another needs balance training. Training in the private lesson concerns:

• Formation of school steps
• Proper placement of feet
• The rhythm in which the steps are performed
• Leaders (cavaliers)
• Followers (dings)
• The special style of each step
• The pattern of school steps

• The duration of each private course is 60 minutes
• Delivered at times chosen by the student during the school's opening hours
• The student can set specific times and days that serve him for private lessons defining them as regular appointments
• Cancellation of private lessons may take place from the previous day

Group Lesson

In group lessons participate a teacher and 5 to 10 students of the same level of dance knowledge, in order to avoid delay in teaching.

The teaching is mainly about technique, kinesiology, lines, timing of movements, special styles and details that show us how to dance and not just to walk a few steps.

The duration of group lessons is 90 minutes and is delivered on a daily basis.

In our group lessons you learn pleasantly, easily and economically all dances. With special exercises that help our body to perform dance moves better, you are taught technical characteristics of dances, rhythm, balance and harmony of movement of the body.

Towards the end of the group lesson, we teach you a small choreography, consisting of two or three steps. The purpose of the choreography is to gain more and better ability to move.

Educational Parties

The educational parties of our School come to complete and empower your dance training by putting in practice everything you have been taught in your private and group lessons.

You will dance with all teachers, with all your classmates, all the dances taught in the school (from Latin to folklore) thus combining fun with education!

This is the easiest, most enjoyable and fun way to dance in an intimate space, in your School before going out to the dance floor of any nightclub.

The large rotation of dances and partners at each party allows you to develop your confidence and the comfort of dancing more easily without having any trouble. Also, in order to get the benefits faster during your study, the system has predicted all students will present dance student and professional demonstrations accompanied by their teachers at each educational party.

Attention

It's completely different to take a dance class than to dance at the party, which is in reality. At the party we gain the confidence and the air of the dance floor. Statistics have shown that a party is equivalent to 4-5 private lessons. Many of our students come to the party every week while others come once or twice a month. We advise you to come as often as you can.

We firmly believe that in order for any person to learn to dance, their program must be based on units. Your program must always consist of the corresponding private lessons, group lessons and parties for proper dance learning.
